Ralph plays acoustic guitar, harmonica and sing. His songs are mostly upbeat and are drawn from folk, bluegrass and country music traditions.
Dale Wilson is the lead singer, playing guitar, banjo, and harmonica. Kathy Frizzell is the backup singer playing 12-string guitar. There may be additional guests depending on dates.
We will perform a mixture of country, folk and class rock songs. If children are present, we will play a set of children’s songs and provide a box of instruments for the children to play along with us (e.g., washboard, drums, tambourines, shaky eggs, maracas).
We are an offshoot of a large local jam group called “Bluegrass Therapy”. While we limit ourselves to traditional bluegrass-approved instruments, the songs we perform encompass progressive bluegrass, folk, and country genres.
